As a mother who cherished my nursing relationship with my own child and a Certified Lactation Educator, I am a strong advocate of breastfeeding. I like to think of myself as a “lactavist”. Breastfeeding is a natural process and it is as much science as it is art.

Private Breastfeeding Education Class

I offer a 3 hour private Breastfeeding Education Class in the privacy of your own home. This class is very informative and covers:

•  Benefits of breastfeeding your baby
•  How the body makes milk
•  Position and Latch, the key to success!
•  Is my baby getting enough milk?
•  How to handle problems and w here to find support
•  Returning to work and continuing to breastfeeding (choosing a pump, breast milk storage, and California Laws which support breastfeeding)

I encourage Dad and Partner to attend the class to help each new family off to a smooth breastfeeding start!!
